Life

Hello. It's me. I'm still here and I still have children. I just can't seem to find the time to blog about them anymore!

Life has been full lately. But that's good, right?

So here's what we have been up to...

We wrapped up our first basketball season and here's how it went...Connor LOVES playing basketball. He really started to understand what he was supposed to be doing and he was good! He made shots and guarded his man. He was really bummed when it was over.
Chloe liked practices. It was like fun time for her, running around, playing games, jumping non-stop. But she didn't really like the games because none of her granny shots never really made it in, until the last game! But mostly, she would skip down the court in her own little world. But I know they both just had so much fun.

We celebrated Valentine's day with school parties and then game night at home.

We have been deep in potty training mode with Cooper and he's doing great, most of the time. We still have a long way to go but he is so determined to wear "under pants" that he will usually stay dry on the weekends when I let him wear them. We aren't brave enough to wear them to school yet though.

We love to dress ourselves...

And dress up as super heroes...

And last week, I picked this boy up from school early and took him on a special ice cream date.
He doesn't need my help or my reminders about things as much as Chloe does. He dresses himself, and even picks out his clothes if I need him to, brushes his own teeth, gets his shoes on without me telling him to, clears his plate after dinner and is now even washing it and loading it in the dishwasher, and is determined to learn how to use the tv remote and the microwave.
I also get special time with Chloe every week when I take her to dance.
We have also been really focused on Cooper while we are potty training and we all give him so much praise and attention, that I just felt like Connor was lacking on some one on one time with just me.
We picked out some yummy ice cream and just talked. He told me about what all he had done at school that week, who his favorite friends are, and he even talked about Chloe, a lot. He really is just the sweetest and smartest boy I know and I have no idea how I got so lucky to be his momma.
