We love our soccer Saturdays and wouldn't have it any other way!
Cooper is my "Sideline Sidekick" and helps me keep time. Who am I kidding??? He's only there for the snacks!!
Chloe is such a good hustler!
I've told the kids that I will pay them a quarter for every goal they score but Chloe tells me that she's not good at scoring goals but that she's really good at hustling. So she gets quarters for hustling too! Ha! But she really is good at both. She just gets frustrated when she misses a few goals.
Connor has improved so much from last season. He watches the ball and follows it instead of just following the crowd and he is way more aggressive than he used to be. He's a great hustler too and scores a goal about every other game. I think he is a more confident player this season too.
I got to spend a little one on one time with Cooper when the twins went back to school after Spring Break. He was feeling well enough to get out of the house a little so we enjoyed the sunshine at the park and even had a quick trip to the Zoo!
He is so funny and says the silliest things. He talks ALOT and his big thing he says right now is "But I want to" when we tell him not to do something. He tests me a lot and I don't remember the twins being this ornery at this age!
I also can't believe we are actually potty trained! It's been going on for a while now but of course I have been scared of the accidents and would rely on him wearing a pull up but then he started insisting on wear underwear so I would let him wear underwear at home but put a pull up on under the underwear when we went anywhere. But one day last week he threw a fit and refused to put a pull up on under his underwear when were getting ready for school so I just went with it and he has done fine ever since. We have had a handful of accidents but it's because we got to busy and I would forget to remind him to go potty. But things are looking up because he is now telling us he needs to potty or even just going on his own! I really can't believe after 5 years of diapers, we might actually be done!!!
Spring Break was very low key because of Cooper's surgery. The twins did a great job entertaining themselves though and we did manage to get out of the house a few times. The weather was awful so it wasn't so bad being stuck inside anyways!
We played every game we had in the house...
We played dress up...
Connor, Chloe and I got to get out one night to watch the new Beauty and the Beast!
Chloe had a soccer game.
And after the game, it was too nice to stay inside...
The twins went to a fun birthday party where they got to ride horses and play games.
And we even got out and did a little spring clothes shopping and picked up some new sunglasses.
Not the best spring break but at least we got to spend lots of time together!
