Iphone pics from the past week...

Cooper is trying lots of new table foods lately and is almost completely done with baby food all together. His teacher text this picture of him trying watermelon for the first time.

Last Wednesday, our tornado sirens went off so we headed down into the storm shelter for the first time since we had it installed last summer.
I was in a hurry to round everyone up and pack a quick bag and try to get everyone to potty and get their shoes on and Chloe kept asking if she could wear her Cinderella dress and if she could take her puppy and her wand because she was a princess. I said yes to everything except the princess slippers. I made her put real shoes on. Connor was just excited to wear his new rain boots.
They both kept asking if were going to stay down there all night and they ate all the snacks I packed within 10 minutes of being down there.

Last Thursday, I got a call from the kids' school saying that Connor had fallen on the playground and hit his mouth on some stairs and knocked his tooth loose and was bleeding. I called their dentist and got in right away to get it checked out.
Everything turned out to be fine. He was just a little banged up.
After our appointment, I took him out to lunch. He requested French fries and ice cream.

We had soccer on Saturday and got matching shirts!
This was our attempt at a team picture.

That afternoon, we did a lot of playing outside.

Last night after dance class, I had to run into the grocery store for a few items and Chloe asked if she could "have maybe just one apple". So I let her pick out her apple and she ate it on the way home and was proud to show Daddy and Connor. She told me that she didn't get Connor an apple because he doesn't like them.

Spring Break Zoo Trip

The kids school was closed last Thursday and Friday so we took off too and headed to the zoo.
It's getting a little harder to get everyone to cooperate for our train ride picture!

Easter Bunny 2015

Last week, we headed to the mall to see the Easter Bunny.

They all did so good!
After we took our picture, we went to the Disney Store.
Connor has started to ask for things in stores and sometimes I can just tell him that maybe if he's good the Easter Bunny or Santa will bring it to him.
But he has started giving me reasons why he needs it now. On this trip, he picked something up and said "It is small. So I can take it home." I decided to let him have it because it was something small and cheap and because he did so good taking his picture with the Easter Bunny. All of that plus it's really hard to resist his big, sweet eyes!
And because Connor got something, Chloe got to pick something out as well. Thank goodness Cooper can't haggle with me yet!

9 months!

Cooper is 9 months old already!

This might have been our easiest photo shoot yet! It was just him and I and he had so much fun and was such a ham!
He really is this happy all the time.
He was waving to me.
He's on the move big time and stands up and let's go for a few seconds!
He loves his independence but he's starting to show a little separation anxiety and will cling to me or David when we try to put him down sometimes.
He first tooth is taking FOREVER to come in but it's almost there!

Our weekend

We went to see the new Cinderella movie with friends on Saturday.
Connor went too, he just didn't want to be in the picture, and they both really liked the movie. I wasn't sure how they would do with something that wasn't animated, but they talked about it all night when we got home.

We couldn't wait to play outside on Sunday!

It's pretty impossible to get all three of them to look at the camera at the same time.
The love their Coop Coop.

Connor & Chloe's Day of Fun!

We had a jammed packed day on Saturday!

We started off with our first soccer session of the new season.
Chloe is in the pink shirt and Connor is in the grey shirt. Their friend Betsey is in the purple shirt.
It's pretty impossible to get them to look at the camera at the same time these days.

After soccer, Cooper went home with Grandma and we went home to change for a birthday party.
It was a swimming party at the YMCA and the kids had so much fun!
We had to drag them out of the pool to get them home for a short nap.
They got about an hour nap and then it was time to get up and get ready for our night out at Monster Jam!
The boys in their boots.
And the girls.

The doors weren't open yet, so we passed the time by taking pictures and eating smarties.

Party in the Pit!
Again...impossible to get them to look at the camera.

Then it was time to find our seats and eat while we waited for the show to start.
Showtime!
Connor is now obsessed with playing with his monster trucks and tractor. He tips all of the trucks over and picks them back up with his tractor, just like he saw them do at the show.
At intermission, we took some more pictures. And she wanted to take a picture of her pink boots that got a lot of attention that night.
She sure did think she was something else strutting around in those boots. I secretly think that's why she wanted to take 20 trips to the bathroom.
They were exhausted by the time it was over and they both had a little meltdown when it was time to go, but I think they really had a lot of fun. I love doing stuff like this as a family!

We missed Coop Coop so much and couldn't wait to go get him on Sunday morning.
He was all smiles and was so happy to play with his bubba and sissy all day.
He really is the BEST baby!
