We had a busy, but fun Christmas even though 3 out of 5 of us came down with a stomach bug!
We started off our Christmas break with a party at school!
Friday night, Christmas Eve Eve, we had Christmas on the Frady side and right when we sat down for dinner, Chloe started throwing up. But of course she felt much better when it was time to start opening presents!
Around 2:00 am the next morning, Connor started throwing up. He was a little better in the morning, just tired from no sleep and was still complaining about a tummy ache. But when he heard we were going to open more presents, he perked up a little bit.
On Christmas Eve, we celebrated on the Dunaway side with cousins. We did crafts, played, and then opened more presents!
On Christmas morning, Chloe was the first to wake up. She came in and tapped me on the back and said "Santa came!" I have been waiting to hear those words for years, seriously. I have been so excited for them to be old enough to really get the excitement of Christmas morning.
I got up and followed her into the living room where she pointed out everything that Connor got, then everything that Cooper got, and then when she got her pile and saw her dollhouse she said "It's huge!" and turned around to look at me with her jaw dropped.
She ran upstairs to wake Connor up and he came down the stairs half asleep and still not feeling well but he had a big smile on his face.
Then, they went to wake Cooper up and I have no idea what they said to him but he came running down the hall saying "Santa brought me Paw Patrol!" I have to say, he had the best Christmas. He was so excited the entire time and loved every minute of it.
We ate breakfast and then opened our presents.
Poor Connor still felt puny all day, so we just spent the day in our jammies playing with our new toys.
The rest of Christmas break was spent playing with our toys, finding fun things to do, potty training and lots of days spent in our jammies!
