He was most scared of the motor on the back of the boat. He just couldn't figure it out.
This was one of his favorite spots. He liked looking out at the water.
The rest of the day was spent getting in and out of the water and napping.
It's hard to tell if he enjoyed it or not, but I do think it was too hot for him on this day. It's hard for him to breathe when he's hot and he just looked uncomfortable all day. He wasn't sure what he was supposed to be doing, but then the next minute he would be wagging his tail and was excited to get to play with all of the other dogs on the beach.
I'm sad that of all the pictures I took of him I didn't get one single picture of him in his life jacket! It was too hot for him to wear it around everywhere, but he was so cute in it!
I feel like the older I get, the closer I get to my dad and the more important he becomes to me. He worked so hard to be able to give all of us everything we had growing up. I really don't remember a time when I asked for something that I didn't eventually get it. I don't think this makes me spoiled, I think this just means that my dad wanted to do what he could to make me happy.
I'm also starting to realize how good of a listener he is. It makes me happy when my dad thinks to call me just to talk. He really does want to know what's going on in my life and I like to hear what he's up to. Lately, we've been talking alot about our cameras. He bought the same camera I did a few months before me. That's just one of the things we both enjoy together. The other is being at the lake. I'm glad that he was finally able to move to the lake full time about a month ago.
I hope he reallizes how much I love and appreciate him. Happy Father's Day Dad!
Yep, that's me hammin' it up in the front. We had so much fun!
I hope you had a great Birthday Sarah!
Also, I would like to remind everyone that I will not be posting next week because I'll be here:
Jealous?!? :)
We're leaving Thursday morning and I'm so excited. I plan on relaxing by the pool and then on the beach, having a few fruity mixed drinks, eating some good food, swimming with the dolphins, and taking lots of pictures.
This is from when my youngest brother Tanner was born. She is 29 years old in this picture. It's crazy to think I'm almost the same age as she was in this picture.
Awwww...Everyone has a Glamorshot, right? So pretty!
"Pom Mom"
It was a hot day but the water was nice.
How cute is that? I love it!
Second, the temperature is now getting into the 90's and the puppies are loving their swimming pool these days.
I'm still trying to get a good one of Brutus in the pool.
And last, in honor of my lens I had to return today, here are some pictures of hubby.
We got up extra early Saturday morning to get ready to go out on the water because we knew it was going to be super crowded because of the good weather.
My dad doesn't get in any hurry...
And this makes my mom impatient...
(And yes, her shirt says "Boat Ho")
Here are a few shots I took with my rented lens. I have to send it back tomorrow and I'm a little upset about it :(
I have realized that when I'm behind the camera, I don't get many shots with me in them. I'm trying to train David so I can get in there too!
