Oh how different life is with babies! We used to have something big to do every New Year's Eve. It was fun to get dressed up and go out to eat and then spend the evening with friends. We even had fun New Year's Eve parties at our house a couple of years in a row.
But this year was different. It was still fun, just in a different way...
We went to eat with the babies, which is getting a little more challenging the older they get. Imagine puff snacks, silverware, napkins and sippy cups flying everywhere. We lose shoes under the table, and there is always a baby hand trying to grab the people walking by or sitting near us. More time is spent trying to feed them than feeding ourselves. But I love every minute of it!
We then did a little shopping for David some new shoes.
And then we went home for a little play time, bath time, then bedtime for the babies and wine and football for us.

2012 was such a great year. It was exciting but also hard at times. We went through so many challenging times getting used to our new life but enjoying every minute of it at the same time. It's hard to explain what it's like to go through something so hard and wonderful at the same time.
But the bottom line is that 2012 brought me my miracle babies, so it was pretty much the best year I've ever had!
Chloe's facial expressions are hilarious! That last picture is a doozy! I bet your heart is on the verge of exploding with joy.
