We had a "Surfer" themed birthday party for Cooper at our house on Saturday. It had been sunny and hot all week so of course on the day we're having a party with water slides there's a 70% chance of rain and it's cold! But we ignored that.
The inflatable water slide was delivered at 8:00 am and the twins had their swimsuits on and were out in it by 8:05.

Cooper has a little stranger anxiety right now and usually doesn't want to let go of me so that's what happened when it was time for us to sing Happy Birthday to him. He just wanted me to pick him up. It was so sad and not at all what I expected him to do with a big cake in front of him!
But he eventually dug in and went for the cake.
We had Connor and Chloe help Cooper open his presents.
Then the kids played in the water some more.

Luckily the rain held off and we spent the whole day outside. David and I even got in the big slide after everyone left and Cooper went down for a nap.
Cooper was in a better mood when he woke up from his nap and loved playing with all of his new toys!
