Vacation - Part 1

Friday - May 22nd:

We packed up and left early in the morning. The car was loaded down with snacks, coloring books, and movies because we had an 8 hour drive ahead of us.

We stopped and stayed the night in Jackson, Mississippi.

 

Saturday, May 23rd:  We got up early on Saturday morning for our last 5 hours of driving to the beach.

We were ahead of schedule and couldn't check into our condo until 4:00 so we made a pit stop in Mobile to see the U.S.S. Alabama battleship.

The sun was in their eyes and it was really hot!  This is also the point where Chloe pushed me over and I broke my selfie stick!

We ate lunch and got back on the road.

And after a quick (expensive) stop at the grocery store, we finally arrived at our condo.

We got settled in, ordered a pizza and went to bed.
